~agramma: I got an email thanking me for an order I never placed. After locating this customer service number on the internet., I called. A rep apologized for the inconvienience, said it may be phishing because they were getting a huge volume of similar calls and referred me to a government anti-spam*phishing site.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Rakuten. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Rakuten problem?
~agramma: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~agramma: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Rakuten's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~agramma: For that I would say four out of five.

~agramma: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Rakuten to know who you are.
