GetHuman-41352: The representative was able to update a phone number on my Safeway Club card (which I had already tried via Safeway's online function). The only complaint is that the update takes between ** minutes and ** hours to go into effect and the representative said that there was no way to check to see if the update had "taken" without physically going to a Safeway and trying to input my phone number at a check out kiosk. So then I said, "So to be on the safe side, I should just wait ** hours before going to the store." She replied in a somewhat irritated voice "** minutes to ** hours." She didn't seem to realize that it would be inconvenient for a customer to have to go to the store only to find my card had not updated and then have to go back again later in order to access my coupons and club card discounts. Other than that, though, I accomplished hopefully what I was trying to do.

GetHuman-41352: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman-41352: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Safeway's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman-41352: For that I would say five out of five.

GetHuman-41352: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Safeway to know who you are.
