~angelhelp's review of Sears customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Sears customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~angelhelp: After dialing into the automatic voice system and saying my phone number twice, I tried entering it on the keypad. Apparently the system doesn't speak English. After bouncing from the request for my phone number to yet another request for it, an operator came on the line. Clearly her first language wasn't English either, and it became necessary to ask for her supervisor. **His first language wasn't English, but at least he spoke and understood it competently. My request for an appointment was handled within ** minutes overall and I have a repair appointment scheduled for * days hence. **The first operator flunked the test. The supervisor did much better.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Sears. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Sears problem?
~angelhelp: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~angelhelp: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Sears's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~angelhelp: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Sears customers?
~angelhelp: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Sears to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~angelhelp taken from his Sears customer service problem that occurred on October 28th, 2017.
