Background on ~smilam's case

GetHuman: ~smilam - can you tell our other Sears customers when your case took place?
~smilam: Yes. It was middle of the night, on November 15th.
GetHuman: Did you reach out to Sears, and if so, how?
~smilam: I used the 800-659-5917 number I found for on the GetHuman Sears customer phone number page I was on: Sears Customer Service Phone Number
GetHuman: And which of these common Sears customer issues best describes the reason you wanted to talk to them?
(Shows ~smilam a list of common Sears problems)
~smilam: "Warranty Claim" was why I was trying to call.

~smilam's review of Sears customer service

GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Sears customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~smilam: Another way to rip off the customer--Sears places the order for a vacuum cleaner belt, but orders the wrong one. The customer receives the vacuum cleaner belt and tries to return it to Sears or exchange for the right one. The price is $**.** and Sears won't reimburse. I did not place the order--Sears did and will not honor the error by reimbursing the charge. Sears customer service is definitely not what it used to be. If the matter isn't cleared up we have no other recourse than to take this matter to court. Sears made the mistake and should "man" up and take care of it.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Sears. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Sears problem?
~smilam: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~smilam: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Sears's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~smilam: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Sears customers?
~smilam: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Sears to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~smilam taken from his Sears customer service problem that occurred on November 15th, 2017.
