~A jaded customer of SJG: Had a service tech. come out and turn gas meter off for renevations. He was extremely rude. Any private business that treats their customers in such a unprofessional and rude manner would not be in business for long. Further, every time his phone rang regarding other service calls he huffed and puffed like a child. It was unbelievable. I read on the SJ Gas website that even if we choose a different provider it wouldn't hurt their bottom line. No wonder they don't care about customer service!
