~blorzoo: I bought an HP notebook in July and was told by an associate in the store that I will get a $** rebate in * weeks. It's been * months now and I havent received the rebate. I called the customer service of staples and spoke to a gentleman who to me was incompetent and did not help me in any way.He told me he cannot find when my details in the system when I had opened it and was looking at it. He then later confessed that he has seen it but dont knw why it has not been processed. He went back and forth with "hold on, i'll be with u" on so many ocassions. Later, he told me to call HP and talk to them about my rebate. Can you imagine???That was the most incompetent fellow I have ever met. For crying out loud, Did I buy the notebook from HP or Staples? He told me there ws nothing he could do about it, unless I call HP- after * months....This rebate center of staples is horrible. I have no doubt in my mind now that it is a way of getting people to buy their stuff and there is really no rebat
