GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's TD Ameritrade customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~P. Osgood: I've been a customer for over * years, never had any problems and always reconciled my accounts within ** days. This month, they "decided" to remove all of my banking products because of some as they called "recent activity". All of my direct deposits go to those accounts, I was not notified by a phone call, or a letter in the mail, they sent me an email. When I requested more details on why they were closing those accounts, because I still had incoming wire transfers into them, they couldn't give me a better answer than "a business decision". I've opened up another bank account with *th *rd.. told TD to get bent and I'm going on my merry way. If you want to wait business days for your funds to post, use TD Ameritrade, if you want late and innacurate information on your accounts, with several days delay in postings, use TDAmeritrade.. not for me anymore, the banking services team is great, but whomever is above them isn't
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TD Ameritrade. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TD Ameritrade problem?
~P. Osgood: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~P. Osgood: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TD Ameritrade's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~P. Osgood: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TD Ameritrade customers?
~P. Osgood: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TD Ameritrade to know who you are.
