~lapearce: I was approved w* conditions for an apartment by telecheck. I called to see why and was told there was a stop payment on a $*** check * years ago from a bank account I never opened. The woman was rude, unhelpful and wanted me to file a police report for something the police couldn't fix. After getting into a shouting match I got transferred to someone else who had enough functioning brain cells to realize the only piece of info that linked me to that account was my driver's license number, the social, name and address didn't match so he simply removed it from my records. Fastforward three weeks. The letter they promised I'd have in *-** business days about the fix never made it and I had to go through the system again to talk to someone about it. This place is horrible.
