GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's TomTom customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~ted: I have a via ****. Came with lifetime map updates. Can't get it to work. Everytime you call support they tell you that some system is down and to call back later. The latest excuse I got was that a major update was coming out and to just wait. Month later and still can't get maps. People are nice on the phone, but they can't help.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TomTom. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TomTom problem?
~ted: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~ted: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TomTom's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~ted: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TomTom customers?
~ted: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TomTom to know who you are.
