GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Toshiba customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Stranger: Basically extortion - even though the laptop was out of warranty, the ONLY way they will provide parts is for them to be sent to an "authorised repair centre" and pay the exaubitant service fees associated with their 'licensed' repairers... The part is an internal plug and play graphics card which is - unplug the old, plug in the new... a service centre will charge me in excess of $*** for that 'service' PLUS the cost of the component... Won't be buying TOSHIBA laptops again - that's * laptops, business and personal that will be bought elsewhere... And I thought extortion was illegal in the States?

~Stranger: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Stranger: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Toshiba's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Stranger: For that I would say two out of five.

~Stranger: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Toshiba to know who you are.
