~MW: i had previously called Signature Toyota in Benton Harbor Michigan asking if they (or Toyota) had a recommendation for what roof rack system i should use to haul a kayak or cargo box for the **** Toyota Prius V we recently purchased. Signature Toyota told me Toyota had no products of this type specifically for the Prius V, and suggested an after market supplier they dealt with. I found this number (for Toyota customer service) on-line and thought i could talk to a rep to find out if Toyota even recommended a cargo rack system on this vehicle and if so which type and where i should get it. i told the Toyota rep that answered i had already talked to the dealership where i bought the vehicle and they suggested i talk to an aftermarket supplier, she then (in difficult to understand language) told me to call the dealership or an aftermarket supplier. I said you're not understanding me i have already done that. Her response then was "SHUT UP" and hung up. all i can say (for Toyotas beha
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Toyota. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Toyota problem?
~MW: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~MW: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Toyota's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~MW: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Toyota customers?
~MW: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Toyota to know who you are.
