~Unsatisfied customer: I called and was immediately put on hold--after ** minutes on hold, I was abruptly disconnected. I called again-same story. I finally gave up the second time on hold and hung up. I was never given the opportunity to speak to a representative. The ironic thing is, I was calling to ask questions about purchasing the program. I had been told that the program had been hacked and people had their information stolen. I wanted assurances that it was safe to buy and use the program. I wanted information about what they did to recover the stolen refunds and fix the identity thefts from their program.But if a company won't even answer when you want to BUY from them, why in the world will they answer when you are in desperate need of help with your taxes?*DON'T buy this program-there is no one there to help you and the risk is NOT worth it!!!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TurboTax. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TurboTax problem?
~Unsatisfied customer: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Unsatisfied customer: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TurboTax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Unsatisfied customer: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TurboTax customers?
~Unsatisfied customer: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TurboTax to know who you are.
