~bigtimebucks: This is a follow-up to the bad review i posted yesterday. On a hunch, I called back about ** minutes later hoping to get a different rep that actually spoke English. Wow, what a difference. I could understand the rep and she was very helpful. My problem was quite complex (related to use a mac computer & the on-line version not be compatible on certain parts) and she was able to transfer me to the tech department which did an unbelievable job. Took ** minutes total, but overall i was happy when all was said and done. I know on-line programs are written for windows PC's and then later adapted for the Mac OS, so I was patient. I wish companies would give english test when they hire for customer service positions. My advise, if it sounds like you get a bad rep, hang up and call right back (and keep your fingers crossed).
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting TurboTax. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a TurboTax problem?
~bigtimebucks: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~bigtimebucks: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TurboTax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~bigtimebucks: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TurboTax customers?
~bigtimebucks: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TurboTax to know who you are.
