~gynger: Turbo Tax offered a special to file my federal and state income taxes for **.**. The process was easy but when I was checking out, they up charged me **.** for my state and **.** for audit defense. I tried to correct it myself but couldn't. I then contacted customer service who said they could waive the **.** and the ** but they couldn't waive the **.** audit defense. What a rip off. Go directly to the IRS and your State to file your returns....Classic bait and switch!

~gynger: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~gynger: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TurboTax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~gynger: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other TurboTax customers?
~gynger: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for TurboTax to know who you are.
