~Yadams: I've used Uber over a cab solely because of automation, I can input my pickup address & destination and wait for the driver to arrive. The past * requests I've submitted to Uber were followed up with phone calls from drivers speaking broken English asking for directions. This morning the Uber driver said, "I don't have a map on me".**So Uber is priced EXACTLY the same as a cab, Uber drivers start charging the minute they arrive (often not calling or messaging they're here) and Uber drivers will more than likely call asking for directions (NOT using the tools & resources they're given).*There is no way of contacting Uber directly to voice concerns so I vote with my money.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Uber. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Uber problem?
~Yadams: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Yadams: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Uber's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Yadams: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Uber customers?
~Yadams: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Uber to know who you are.
