GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's United Airlines customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Bob Simpson: When you call *** *** ****, you get Mexico, the Philippines or some other remote location with unknowledgeable contractors who can't make good customer decisions. When you call *** ***-**** (customer service), you get a health insurance company. The message is that UAL is hiding from its restless angry customers. From now on, I will be looking for good alternatives to UAL even if it costs a bit more & is less convenient schedule-wise. My family & grandchildren will follow suit in our planned global travels. In the meantime, I may just refer this example of American capitalism run amuck to the Haggler in the NYT business section.
