~Dr Mallen: I called United Concordia's dental customer service at ***-***-**** to complain that they sent me an eob that said I needed to send additional information but failed to write what the information was. After being on the phone for ** minutes, it was determined that there was no missing information and denial was based on their people reviewing my xrays. I was given provider relations telephone number ***-***-**** to register a complaint and it turned out that it was a number for another insurance company! If all you need is a cleaning, this is an okay company but if you need your gum disease treated, stay away from United Concordia.

~Dr Mallen: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Dr Mallen: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about United Concordia's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Dr Mallen: For that I would say three out of five.
