GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Verizon DSL customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~Michael J: I called Verizon customer service,(in India). My DSL speed is *.**mbs,and at times slower, which Verizon told me in past calls was the fastest available. For about * week my speed went up to *.**mbs, consistently & wireless. Speeds that are way below the US average. I spoke with * people who gave me conflicting info. They had a tech look into it and said that my speed was not right and they changed it to *.**mbs, which I verified with a speakeasy speed test. I spoke with * people. One said that my speed would be between *.** & *.**. The other said it would be *.** to *.**, and only if my computer was plugged into the modem. I told him that I was getting *.** wireless, and I felt that I had been overcharged for almost * years as the *.** speed that I got for that * week was proof that speed was possible. After getting nowhere with this man, I concluded that Verizon can at will slow down or speed up service. I believe that I have been lied to and overcharged for years. I have spent hours

~Michael J: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Michael J: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Verizon DSL's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Michael J: For that I would say two out of five.

~Michael J: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Verizon DSL to know who you are.
