~hate-Verizon-Now : I called for gen'l info re using my old modem for plain DSL w*already established Verizon land line. Transferred *x !twice Phillipines,*x to India, when I kept asking for "USA tech support" and never got there. Was 'forced' or they tried, to get my phone * *x, tho recording says never req'd. Waiting was insuffereable and awful. Verizon has monopoly on landlines in Los Angeles area. Why I never rec'd simple answer ? USA sales on ** transfer "Chris" kept cutting out and on my land line she said YOU are cutting out, give me your no to call back" *another asking for my *. I redialed top * again instead. YUK!
