GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Whirlpool.com customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~None: Whirlpool is now the manufacturer of Maytag. In *****, we purchased a new washer and dryer, basically chosen because of the Maytag brand and past experience. The washer has never performed satisfactorily, however, it is nothing that the small print on a warranty would address. This is Model MVWX***XW*, and Serial *C********. This top loader 'he' machine produces an extremely poor result in laundering dark clothing. No matter the attention given to type of detergent, machine setting to "*extra rinse"*, or water temperature. The Whirlpool customer service representative just went through the textbook reasons why this is the common result experienced, but, of course, none of them had anything to do with the machine's performance. If it can't produce a satisfactory laundered product when it has choices of water temperature appropriate for what is being laundered, and all efforts are made to use correct quantities and types of detergent, then it is not a product ready for sal
