~gaile: The door handle on my Whirlpool Refrigerator that I bought last September broke just beyond the *****. the handle needs to be replaced. called Whirlpool on friday ******* and was told that they had no one who could come and service it and they would call me no later that Tuesday of the next week with day*time for service. No one called by Wednesday so I called back Waited ** minutes to be told that no one could come and service the appliance. spoke with the supervisor who informed me that because the unit worked, the door handle is "cosmetic" and they would not come and fix it. My guy is coming to ifx it tomorrow, wonder what that will cost. I will never buy their product again if that is how they treat people. horrible, terrible people. A warranty is a warranty. what nonsense!!!!!

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~gaile: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Whirlpool's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~gaile: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Whirlpool customers?
~gaile: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Whirlpool to know who you are.
