GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Yahoo customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~springday: The amount of minutes I waited was well over * hours! The wait time box on this form does not even allow you to enter anything above ** minutes. On the first call, I waited ** minutes than it got disconnected. The second call was just under * hours. Who has time for this? The only reason I was able to do this was because I put it on google computer phone and was able to go in and out of the room for * hours until someone picked up. Just to let you know, Yahoo will delete your email accounts, they call it "recycling"(yea, right)...if you do not log in it for more than * month. But I was able to get into my account, because I had already deactivated one account, and I was trying to get into that one by mistake. So I thought they had deactivated my account,my active(?) account that I look into once every * months or so is OK...just took * hours to find that out...! That's why I never, ever had Yahoo as a primary account.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Yahoo. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Yahoo problem?
~springday: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~springday: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Yahoo's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~springday: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Yahoo customers?
~springday: Try to deal with them early in the day or later. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Yahoo to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from ~springday taken from his Yahoo customer service problem that occurred on November 12th, 2017.
