~EmilyJ: This year, my contract for Uverse tv and internet was coming up due. So I called to see what promotions were going on. I was actually only interested in upgrading my internet and either keeping my current cable package or cancelling that all together. I ended up upgrading both my internet and cable, as it seemed like a reasonable price. However, after the upgrade I found that I had actually lost some channels (baby channels). It sounds silly, but I noticed because those were my son's favorite channels and any temporary entertainment my son can get while I can take ** minutes to make dinner is noticeable when taken away. Anyways, I called back to complain --- why am I paying more, and losing channels?? The agent on the phone said that he would upgrade me to the next level free of charge and that he would call me back. He never called me back and when I called in, the new agent on the phone said, "Our representative mis-spoke. We can't make that accomodation. If you'd like to ca
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AT&T U-Verse. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AT&T U-Verse problem?
~EmilyJ: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~EmilyJ: I'd give them a four out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AT&T U-Verse's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~EmilyJ: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AT&T U-Verse customers?
~EmilyJ: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AT&T U-Verse to know who you are.
