~Madatatt: To get get my phone rewired to another room: Day One, on hold for an hour and ** minutes and I hung up. Day Two, on hold for ** minutes, I hung up. Day Three: on hold for ** minutes someone finally answered. They told me to call ***-***-****. I was given the ***-***-**** by AT&T, Oh, well, I called the ****-***-**** and someone answered within * minutes. Set my appointment for between * a.m. and noon today. I had to take a day off from work. Guess what? They never showed up. I won't go into the horrible details of trying to reach repair to get an estimate of when they may come. On hold with the ***-***-**** number for over an hour and they told me no one had picked up my ticket to call the ***-********. They were actually helpful, however, said it looks like they will have to reschedule for tomorrow. I already had to take the day off for no one to show up. I asked who I could write to so that I could let someone know that obviously they need to hire more people in repair
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AT&T. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AT&T problem?
~Madatatt: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Madatatt: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AT&T's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Madatatt: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AT&T customers?
~Madatatt: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AT&T to know who you are.
