GetHuman-382100: I work in a call center for appliances and elelctronics for a large retailer in the midwest. Yesterday I had to refer a customer to Asus for service on their laptop that was under warranty. I ended up having to set up the service for him while going back between both my lines due to the customer not getting anywhere with them. I explained the situation to a rep, and asked if it would be possible for them to call the customer to help him out. I was told they have to talk to a supervisor, I assumed that they were going to do so and put me on hold...not even close, after an awkward silence I was thanked for calling in and hung up on, forcing me to call back in. After ** minutes of this I was finally able to get them to set him up for box-ship service. The customer was understandably frustrated, as was I.
