~sad on eve: Avis office was closed on confirmed reservation date and time (noon on a Wednesday). This number said they could maybe get me a rental at the airport (much further away) at a higher rate. Asked to speak to a supervisor or manager. Not available, will call me in the next five days. Now I'm out a rental car on X-mas eve.
