~Doug Adams: Charter just plain *****...I have been a customer with them for about ** years..not because I want to be but because I am held hostage to them as I dont have anyone else I can go to. The service is so bad that they should let another company have their area of service, Knology,Comcast,Media Com, anyone. I have ongoing problems with my service to the point that about every *-* months its practically unusable. They have been to my home at least *** times and the problem still exists. Each person that comes to my home says that its this and that and the problem is out on the pole and that they can't fix it and that they have to get someone else to fix it. I never see the person that is supposed to fix it nor do I ever find out what the problem was or is as it is on going. If you can get service from anyone else besides Charter, do so.

~Doug Adams: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Doug Adams: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Charter Communications's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Doug Adams: For that I would say two out of five.

~Doug Adams: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Charter Communications to know who you are.
