~Snowbird: I phoned to verify availability of a golf bag at your Skokie Illinois location and was told one was available. This was on a Friday. I asked if I could give them a credit card number to hold the bag and two, to take advantage of the **.** discount afforded to advantage members.I was told they didn't take credit cards over the phone BUT they would still allow me the discount when I came in on Monday. I live about ** miles from the store and wanted to make sure of the availability and price before making the trip.*When I arrived I was told the individual I spoke to, Anthony or Tony, didn't have the authority to offer the discount.*I still purchased the bag but am very disappointed in the lack of any communication between your store personnel.*As I understood it, Tony checked with his manager before making the offer.*While I'll remain a customer, I'm not satisfied with the manner this was handled.
