~linda leffort: I have held a Kohls credit card for about *-* years.recently I have taken back my maiden name from Gagnon to Leffort and have a p.o. box temporarily while I wait for my closing of my new home. I went to the Warwick location last evening to purchase $***.** worth of clothing,I handed the girl my kohls card and she said my account was closed due to inactivity.I said can I open a new account the girl said yes and we started the process.It took an unexpectantly long time, the manager came over dialed the customer service * and said because of the p.o box address I couldnt open an account,I explained my situation and gave my boyfriends address as a acual address in which i am staying at untill i close on my new home,she said it would not accept that information.I called the customer service * at lunch today and told the woman my story and she said I need to go to the Branch*store to open up an account....AHHHH! I proceeded to tell her I was at the store last night for *.* hrs.trying to do j
