~JolietGman14: After two days on the site, I got an email stating that my account was terminated due to my background. I have a felony. *I tried to review the Terms of Use Agreement but the link only lead to the background check company (incorrect link).**I reviewed the "welcome to Match.com" email that I got and on the bottom there was a statement that NO background checks would be run so go at your own risk.**The agent I talked two was fine and did a very good job for the situation he was in. I was not happy and raised my voice at him (and subsequently apologized for doing so). The agent was unable to tell me why the account was terminated. I would have to supoena my records for them to be able to discuss this with me. I was speechless.**I decided that I would not fight "city hall" so asked for a refund for the virtually unused subscription. The agent advised me that this was not possible. Now I was livid. The tell you one thing and then change the policy and keep your money. sounds like a

GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~JolietGman14: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Match.com's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~JolietGman14: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Match.com customers?
~JolietGman14: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Match.com to know who you are.
