~arunciks: I am not sure if Samsung warranty servicing TTS guys checked the HDD before shipping but this one I received is DOA - doesn't power up. I did check and Power Supply does output voltage.I am getting really disappointed First Samsung story *.*G HDD got replaced * year after purchase with defective HDD. second I received from warranty was working * months and just stopped to power up. I made a mistake sending it in (I wish I kept it and at least had my data), but I tough putting note inside the box and calling would help them just replace electronics part of the HDD and return the old drive inside new enclosure. I would just taken the drive back with no replacement, but after I called the TTS, guy on the phone explained that there are no ways of doing it and my drive probably already destroyed. Sad .. I lost tons of data, was preparing for online backup and cataloging everything on the Samsung HDD and didn't left any other copies. Now I receive replacement and its DOA. Send emails to TTS

~arunciks: For that I would say four out of five.
