~Anonymous: I tried numerous times to contact someone at Shutterfly to help me with Shutterfly's mistake on my order. Here is what I tried and what didn't happen:* **. The Customer Service link at the bottom of the web site. Got messages about Adobe Air, extending special promotions and an earthquake in Costa Rica that didn't harm any Shutterfly employees.* **. The Contact Us link on the web site. No help there either - same info as above.* **. Gretchen Sloan's phone number. She wasn't available, but she left a customer service number on her voicemail message.* **. The customer service number from Gretchen Sloan's voicemail. I tried calling twice, on two different days, but after waiting on hold for ** minutes both times, I gave up and hung up.* **. "Click here to ask us a question" link. No response.* **. Chat with Live Help link. Not available.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Shutterfly. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Shutterfly problem?
~Anonymous: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Anonymous: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Shutterfly's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Anonymous: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Shutterfly customers?
~Anonymous: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Shutterfly to know who you are.
