~Taoskier: I called the number for customer service on my statement twice. Both times I had to sit through * sales pitches, after which I was told "You do not qualify for this offer. Please hang up." When I didn't I was treated to some discordant noise so I would hang up. This is customer service? When I used your number and instructions I got to a person. There was only one inaccuracy: You have to say "I don't know" and "Yes" three times, not two. But by that time I got the gist of it--Tell the computer nothing so it has to connect you to a person. In my view, I think this lunacy started when consumers were found to be willing to pump their own gas.
