~NJReview99: Systrum Energy is a scam! My gas service costs have appreciably increased over what they would have been with NJNG and my electric rates have more than doubled. Their website is deceitful and their sales staff does not tell the truth. What is not lied about is simply omitted. They are not affiliated with the Board of Public Utilities and are therefore not regulated. They will not save you any money for sure - in a good month my savings were mere pennies. What they don't tell you is that they engage in variable pricing and there is no ceiling to what they can charge. It also takes *-* months to get switched back to the main utility company which gives them ample time to keep robbing you (literally). They blamed their gas over charge on NJNG and this was not true. They said they would make up for it the next month and that was not true. They try to market themselves as a friendly family owned business (see their website)when they are nothing more than thieves targeting senior citizens an
