~f-tiaacref: The wait time wasn't bad for me, but the conversation was. The woman I spoke to was VERY rude. She pretty much screamed at me when I asked about withdrawing my money. Then, she shrieked again when I asked her to clarify what she had said previously. I finally hung up on her and went through their website. I can only hope my next job doesn't use them for retirement accounts.

~f-tiaacref: I'd give them a five out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~f-tiaacref: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about TIAA-CREF's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~f-tiaacref: For that I would say three out of five.
