GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Timex customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~redhot: I bought a new watch about a year ago, and the band broke. I followed the instructions in the manual for ordering a new band in Nov. of last year. I checked on the order at the end of January, and was told it was on back order, and that it would be in soon. In February, I had a friend re-order the watch band, and it was shipped in five days. I called to inquire how this could happen, and was given the biggest line of BS I have ever heard. Finally I was told that they were going to take the bands off of two new watches, and send them to me that day. This is the poorest service I have ever received. Now we have bought numerous watches from Timex for our athletics over time, but will not be doing business with Timex in the future.

~redhot: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~redhot: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Timex's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~redhot: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Timex customers?
~redhot: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Timex to know who you are.
