~MomMonster: We tried calling TA several times during the day PDT with no success. Last night I called at ***:**PM PDT (*:**AM in Turkey) and got through in about ** - ** minutes. The customer service rep was great. She booked my daughter's seat assignment, arranged for her vegetarian meal, updated her ticketing information with the partner frequent flyer number (UA), and made a notation about her severe peanut allergy. I had a little difficulty understanding the rep's accent here and there, but she was very patient, was happy to repeat information, and spelled things when necessary. All in all, I think the trick is to call during business hours in Turkey.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Turkish Airlines. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Turkish Airlines problem?
~MomMonster: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~MomMonster: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Turkish Airlines's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~MomMonster: For that I would say five out of five.

~MomMonster: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Turkish Airlines to know who you are.
