GetHuman45083: Selling of ADT signs on various websites
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 12/05/17?
GetHuman45083: I was just browsing websites and noticed that on Mercari website that various individuals were selling your yard signs and window stickers. Then I checked on eBay and Amazon and the same thing there. It's one thing if someone already has an alarm system and they give extra signs to those they know or if someone steals your out of your yard, there's not too much too be done about that. But for individuals to take your product and sell them for their own personal gain that's just wrong. I am a PAYING ADT customer who pays $** a month for monitoring and everyone else is just getting away with selling signs to make everyone else who doesn't pay for the service look like they have an alarm? I had no idea that people could get away with this, I just stumbled on this by accident looking for something else. I don't think Mercari, eBay or Amazon cares, as long as they are making money. I found at least * sellers on Mercari. A few on Amazon and eBay. I have their names if you need them. I don't think these scammers should get away with this and they should be caught. Some people do anything to make a buck!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting ADT. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a ADT problem?
GetHuman45083: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
GetHuman45083: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about ADT's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
GetHuman45083: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other ADT customers?
GetHuman45083: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for ADT to know who you are.
GetHuman: Well there you have it. Some useful feedback and words from GetHuman45083 taken from his ADT customer service problem that occurred on December 5th, 2017.
