~Jefferson2013: I had been a customer of ATT copper line phone and internet service for some years with no problems until a couple of years ago when they moved me over to the Uverse (fiber optic), service and the nightmare service began. I cannot begin to tell you how horrible the service became with Uverse. I went through months of having my service repeatedly failing and technicians and supervisors coming to my home to try different things to get it resolved, and finally they fiigured out that their equipment was simply unable to provide the internet speed that they were selling me. ... and that was only the beginning. The problems only continued onward. Every time the technicians come to work on the problem it's something else and the solution may last for a few months, but then a new problem arises and my service does not work for days at a time. This company just cannot seem to get it together. I even had a field technician supervisor tell me (while at my home), that the company is terrible. .. F
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting AT&T U-Verse. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a AT&T U-Verse problem?
~Jefferson2013: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Jefferson2013: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AT&T U-Verse's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Jefferson2013: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other AT&T U-Verse customers?
~Jefferson2013: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AT&T U-Verse to know who you are.
