I read the remarks before I called support, and I hoped for the best. it wasn't that it sounded like Acer routed my call to india* it was simply bad company policy. they told me that they could remote access my laptop and fix my problem, but it would cost me. so I said, ok let me just ask you a question, which F key do I press in order to reboot back to factory setting. the support guy told me, it would cost me $** usd for him or anyone to answer that question. so the moral is, it cost *** dollars just to ask an indian guy a question???
