~Kevin Williams: My friend & I, used airbnb for a room. Although he has used this service several times this was my first. We saw very nice looking photos online. However, when we got to the home we found a basement room with a "shared" bathroom although it was listed as private. There was literally someone in the shower when we arrived. The bed linen looked as if it had not been changed, hair on the pillowcase, a visibly dirty blanket under the comforter and just a top sheet over the mattress. We went out to get detergent but decided to call airbnb first. As I said this was my first experience & most likely my last because as I sit here typing this message and listening to the host walking around fussing in her language because she had to make the bed with clean linen and clean the pissy toilet I am more bothered by the response I received from the customer service rep of airbnb. She basically informed us that we were just gonna have to deal with it. At least for ** hours until the host rectified t

~Kevin Williams: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about AirBnB's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Kevin Williams: For that I would say five out of five.

~Kevin Williams: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for AirBnB to know who you are.
