~Dracu: Several minutes after speaking with Amazon's customer service operator in Costa Rica, I discussed my problem with her supervisor, i.e. only one book per month permitted to be downloaded to my Kindle Paperwhite from Kindle's Lending Library for Amazon Prime Customers! That's absurd! But, that's the way Amazon sets its rules down for borrowing books etc. One a month. Not as customer friendly as the public library. However, customer service did inform me that I could go to my public library and open an account to borrow and download as many books as I wanted from the public library website...provided they are returned on time. Not a bad deal. But, I do wish it was easier to contact someone at the corporate level, who supervised consumer*customer complaints as well as suggestions, to help make Amazon more customer friendly and keep their "fan base" alive and well.
