~grateful googler: A woman answered right away (THANK YOU for this tip) and told her full name and showed sincere compassion when I told her that I was hoping for a refund for a ticket I had paid for just a few hours ago in hopes of getting to see my Mom **** miles away before she died..and then she died within the hour that I paid. It took quite awhile on the phone then and the agent needed to seek advice several times, but she DID solve the problem: my ticket got converted without a change fee to another date and place for the funeral next weekend and I'll get a voucher for the difference. And it was really a comfort to feel her support and concern. So hurray for this phone number! and whoever posted into about it!
