GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's BC Hydro customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~inhumane: I get my bills via email. Didn't receive it for April. I get a notice in the mail that the bill has not been paid and that I now have to pay a whopping security deposit!? I paid the bill promptly then I called customer service and the person basically called me a liar and that the email was sent and received. I argued that I've paid every bill as soon as I receive the bill via email and that this one did not reach me. Again, she says I'm lying and that if I don't pay the security deposit, the power will be cut off! There was no reasoning with this person, no humanity what so ever. These corporations should not be allowed to get away with this...such a terrible experience - I'm so pissed off right now! Is there anything we can do???

~inhumane: For that I would say four out of five.

~inhumane: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for BC Hydro to know who you are.
