~Marnie: I have phoned three times about the weight of the hydro lines that have pulled the decorative board away from the front of the house. My nephew went up to hammer the boards in place and was zapped for his efforts. On the third call "Sydney" gave me the information about what would have to be done to "fix" this situation. However the previous two people I contacted said there was a work order in place to fix the problem. No-one showed up. What "Sidney" told me during my third call was Not even close to what the previous two operators told me. *I was expecting a BC Hydro Work Crew to come out and rectify the problem. It turns out that it is my responsibility as a homeowner to get it fixed myself. As it is the weight of all the wires that has pulled the boards away from the house this is in itself not an acceptable solution. However if I had been given the correct information about how to get this problem fixed I would have done it two weeks ago when I first reported the problem

~Marnie: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Marnie: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about BC Hydro's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Marnie: For that I would say one out of five.

~Marnie: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for BC Hydro to know who you are.
