~JDickson: I've had to call Brother twice, once for a mechanical issue and once for driver installation. I've found that saying your model gets you through quicker to a live person in their hardware dept (which is overseas) and saying "software" gets you quickly to their PC dept (which is in the US!). My suggestion: always say "software"!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Brother International. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Brother International problem?
~JDickson: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~JDickson: I'd give them a five out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Brother International's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~JDickson: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Brother International customers?
~JDickson: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Brother International to know who you are.
