~Patricia Walker: Carla was the representative whom I spoke with on *********. She was short and rude. When I told her that I requested the pass due amount that needs to be paid, and not the current amount due in April, she continued to tell me what is due on April *, ****.This is not what I requested. I requested the March balance that I believe was ***.**. When I informed Carla she was not giving me the information I requested she continued to iterate to me that I owe $***.**. In short I paid $***.**. Everyone knows that DTE over charges for enegry. That's why people are on the budget plan. It's not for Carla to determine how much I am to pay especially when I continually request the amount due for March! No matter what DTE says, the first of the month is an inconvenience for me to pay my bill. Moreover DTE alleges you can not change your payment date. That why the majority of DTE customers will participate in direct payment program. I hope I never have to speak to another representative like Carla

~Patricia Walker: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DTE Energy's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Patricia Walker: For that I would say five out of five.

~Patricia Walker: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DTE Energy to know who you are.
