~Disgusted: On *********, at about *:**A.M., a DTE employee came to my door requesting access to the DTE pole in my backyard. I gave permission. Shortly after he left, I noticed that a quarter of my house had no electricity. I called DTE and was told they would send out a "FORM" and if I needed an electrician to fix whatever, send back the form along with the electrician's bill and they would consider whether to reimburse me. After talking to DTE, we realized we could not get the car out of the garage due to no power there. My son called DTE and complained. Two DTE workers were sent out that night and after looking at the pole told me they knew exactly what was wrong. They could not fix it but had called someone else out and would wait for their arrival. After sitting in front of my house for an hour, they came to the door to say they had to leave but someone would be out. On June **th at *:**A.M., a DTE employee came out. After I told him what had happened the day before, he told me he

~Disgusted: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Disgusted: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DTE Energy's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Disgusted: For that I would say five out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other DTE Energy customers?
~Disgusted: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DTE Energy to know who you are.
