~World Traveler: I made a reservation online and when I was about to pick up the car today with a major credit card (AMEX), I was told that I had tp pay $*** deposit. The deposit would be returned when I returned the car. I asked why and was told that's corporate policy. I feel tha is unacceptable. On top of that the car they wanted to rent me was dirty. Needless to say, I didn't rent! I decided to take my business elseware.
