~furious: All I asked was if there was anything I needed to due regarding error on my report in addition to the company who made error. I understand verification and security all too well, but all I wanted to know was the process. Well-what cc's do you have? I mentioned * to *. Then for one, she asked me how much my payments were. I answered I pay it off every month so payment amts vary. Then she asked minimum-I said anywhere between $**-**. Response was since you didn't answer my question, I can't assist you. Kept say I've asked you a question & u haven't answered. I get you asked me a question-duh! I asked what more or other information do you need. Continued with the I asked you a question and u didn't answer. I've asked u what cc's? After the *th time of telling this person what other cards,the call was just intolerable. Just horrible service and stupidity. I did call back and my question was answered as verification wasn't needed.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Equifax. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Equifax problem?
~furious: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~furious: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Equifax's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~furious: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Equifax customers?
~furious: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Equifax to know who you are.
